There are no claims nor is there a taken list—just a character roster, where players list the characters they intend to play here. Multiples, AUs, OCs, game imports, etc; anything's allowed and everything goes, just be reasonable. Create a top level comment with the following format and your name/handle in the subject line:

And respond to that top level comment with each character journal you want to put in play, with the character's name and series in the subject line and the following format in the comment:

Easy enough! All we ask is that you only list characters you intend to play at some point. Please join the comms once you've listed a new character here. If a muse dies/you decide not to play a character, please come along and delete their comment and remove them from the comms. :) Thank you!
